Every community has them and this one is no different.
The basics should already be known so they're as short and sweet as possible.
activity
This is a biggie! What's the point of joining if you aren't going to be active? We don't care what it is. Could be lyrics, quotes, random whatever, we don't care just make sure you're posting, commenting around to other people and showing some signs of life. The only way to make sure a game grows and strives to keep going is making sure us as writers are active! With that being said there is a update rule for your character's journal. One update (or more, depending on you!) at least every four weeks. Things we'll also be doing within the group to insure activity will be weekly group threads, writing prompts, weekly discussions, etc.
communication
There's plenty of ways to communicate with others throughout the community. An IC contact post MUST be up to insure there is some way to get ahold of your character. AIM is highly suggested because it's the easiest route, or go with customs and comments. Everyone gets all jolly when they sign in and see that they're loved! Branch out of the social scene and make new friends, don't just stick to your writing partner there's no fun in it and fun and interaction is what a game is all about.
character limit
As of right now we don't have one, if you feel you can handle more than one then by all means pick up another. If the Mods do catch on and see that you're only being a role hog and they're not active we will ask you to drop someone.
drama
Keep it to a min. Don't be over dramatic and be an asshole, plain and simple. There is a two strike rule. The Mods will get in contact with you once if the problem can't be resolved between you and the other party, if nothing changes then you will be removed by the second complaint. We all love drama in game but make sure that it is ok with the other person before just randomly attacking their critter. We're all adults around here, no need to get sent to the principles office, yeah?
pregnancy
This one is easy enough. It happens! So as long as your gal is off tv and has no current plans to be brought back on live programming then it's fine by the mods. If there's a situation where your character has been off for sometime and you're already in the middle of your storyline where your character is already pregnant, we can work around that fact. It's our world after all, and despite trying to keep things as realistically as possible jumping ahead in time so further both the storyline and realism would be alright.
realism
As stated above we would like to keep things as close to real as possible. That's where knowing your character comes into play. There's fan sites and social media sites that allow you an in depth look into your character's life. No we're not saying that if you bring in Phil Brooks that he has to be married to April Mendez (unless of course you and your SL partner would like to) but we would like you to acknowledge the facts about his past and currents situations. Simple enough, yeah?
